According to FIA sources, Shaukat Tarin appeared before the inquiry team and joined the inquiry. After receiving the second notice, Shaukat Tarin reached the FIA cyber crime wing on Wednesday evening and appeared before the inquiry team.
Sources say that when Shaukat Tareen came after 5 pm, the FIA staff had to come to the office again, Deputy Director Muhammad Ayaz and Inquiry Officer Muneeb Ahmed questioned Shaukat Tareen.
According to FIA sources, former Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen could not give a clear answer to the inquiry team regarding the telephone call, Shaukat Tareen took the questions with him and said that he will answer after consulting the lawyer.
